Foram recolhidos n\u00facleos de sedimentos de v\u00e1rios lagos e, numa camada datada entre 700 e 800 d.C., foram descobertos compostos associados a vacas e ovelhas. Um aumento das part\u00edculas de carv\u00e3o e uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00f3len de \u00e1rvores nativas na mesma camada poderiam indicar o desbravamento de terras para o pastoreio de gado.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Os arque\u00f3logos descobriram ainda, entre outras coisas, arte rupestre e, possivelmente, estruturas cartaginesas e megal\u00edticas, que teriam sido constru\u00eddas de acordo com um plano orientado, alinhado com o solst\u00edcio de ver\u00e3o e relacionado com estruturas tamb\u00e9m encontradas na Sic\u00edlia, no Norte de \u00c1frica e nas Ilhas Can\u00e1rias.<\/p><p>\u00c9 necess\u00e1ria mais investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica para se chegar a uma conclus\u00e3o sobre este facto.
